Anna's barge

Anna's barge is one of many that are permanently moored on the canal. Every day on my way to work I pass this barge. When Anna is on the deck, I wave at her. Anna is a seamstress, she does upholstery, and also makes pillows and curtains. When the weather is right, I take my camera to catch the rising steam from the canal playing whis the sun. That February morning I was lucky.

its really a great shot. the reflection is excellent. the repeating series of trees is a pleasant subtle detail. the lighting is fantastic. nominated
