This is a flock of Trumpeter Swans wintering at a city park in Western Washington. The Trumpeter Swan is North America's largest wild waterfowl and one of the continent's heaviest flying birds, so these majestic animals are quite impressive to see. In the background are Bufflehead and Mallard ducks that were closer to the shore of this section of the park. The photo was taken on an unusually sunny day on December 29th. I zoomed in on the swans from a faraway dock in another section of this wetlands park on Lake Washington.
