Best of 2014:
This shot was taken last June, just South of Yakima, WA. The storm had mostly passed by the time we found a vantage point to shoot from. As the sun set the cloud lit up with the wonderful warm light of a summer evening. The lighting bolt was the first and last one we saw while shooting.
The shot is a stitch of 3 images, stitched in Hugin panorama software and the final image was edited in Lightroom 4.

Crop a tad on the bottom and level the horizon? Beautiful shot nonetheless.
