Selenium is an element named for the moon, from the ancient Greek word for "moon" (selēnē). Here is a photograph with "selenium" processing. The main subject may appear to be searching the skies for the moon, but the time of day is in fact early in the afternoon. On Broadway, next to city hall in lower Manhattan.
