Very tough call for me this month - they're all beautiful compositions. However, the mood of #9 has something captivating for me.

• Twice!
• The horror of the word "Ricoh" on the backs and bottom plates of Pentax cameras
• Some idiot drowned his K-7 and K-5 and lenses in sand and water
• Pentax continues to be doomed

I chose the one with that I thought was the most challenging exposure. I could have easily chosen the one with the least challenging exposure and it easily exceeds anything I've managed to capture. I salute all the entrants.
