Lake McDonald under the Aurora
Contest Number: 103 Contest Theme: Mirror Image Lens: Sigma DC 18-250 Camera: K-3 Shutter Speed: Above 6s Aperture: F3.5
Posted By: JonE, 03-05-2015, 05:23 AM

Arriving about 10pm or so after a Aurura Alert with a Kp index of 4, the hint of green aurora was behind the clouds and reflected off of Lake McDonald in Glacier National Park. The snow capped mountains make a wonderful bonus on a moon lit night.
