It was raining as usual in the brazilian Amazon when I took this photo while driving by the bridge over the Negro River in Manaus, Amazon, Brazil. I was in the city for work in 2013 and could not miss the chance to see the bridge in person. It is a huge work of engineering.
This is the 2nd largest cable-stayed bridge over a river (the largest one is in Venezuela over the Orinoco River). The bridge connects the city of Manaus to Aranduba and is 3,595 metres long.

It took me a bit to figure out the subject matter; I think the title threw me off. I love the contrast and the abstractness. Vivid!

With balanced colours, striking contrast and excellent geometric lines you have created a very interesting image.

This image has great "wow factor." The vibrant complementary colours coupled with the strong diagonal pulling all of the angles together, make a strong abstract composition. This image has my vote.
