The Aliveri Steam Electric Station is the first station of Public Power Corporation of Greece (PPC- Dimosia Epiheirisi Ilektrismou DEI)
From the left.
The New No5 (420 MW 2008) combined circle natural gas Unit.Full Commercial Operation.
The Old No1 and No2 (40MW each 1955) Lignite Units.Definitively decommissioned.
Τhe No3 (150MW 1967) Unit.Initially constructed as lignite unit, later converted for burning crude oil.Today In cold standby.
The No4(150MW 1970) crude oil Unit.Today In cold standby.
