After lugging my tripod up and down the bluffs all afternoon, I was delighted to chuck it in the car while the kids gamboled around the shore of Devil's Lake in the fading light. But of course then I spotted this; had to improvise with putting the camera on a table and propping it up with the padded camera strap. The old 1980s-era Vivitar brings it in again for the win.
