I shot multiple photos of this Orangutan at the New Orleans zoo. I overlaid the 2nd on top of the first in Photoshop and darkened the 2nd photo and placed a dark blue cast on it.

I could easily imagine this shot on the cover of National Geographic magazine. I don't think a photographer could get a much better compliment than that!

Great apes express such a large range of emotions in their faces, like Humans... Maybe that's why I like them so much...
