Frosty Trees Against Lunar Eclipse · **2 Likes**

First attempt at composite photo using two different pictures shot with different equipment and settings. Equipment used for each photo: [1] For the Frosty Trees picture, shot in RAW, I used a Pentax K-200D with DA 18-55 AL II at 18mm, f8, 1/ 350s, handheld. [2] For the Lunar Eclipse I shot JPG with my Pentax K-5IIs and DA 55-300mm ED at 300mm, f8, 3s, mirror locked up and with the shutter set to fire in 2 seconds, camera on a tripod. The white specs aren't stars, but frost dislodged as the sun warmed the trees.
