I used this opporunity to learn median averaging in photoshop to help reduce noise. I'm not sure if I was dealing with a lot in the first place, but I did enjoy the results. This is a panorama comprised of ~25 images. This is actually the cropped B&W edition. Before I scaled it down for the forums, its about 11000x4000 pixels. There's a lot of detail lost. This was quite a challenge for me during shooting as it was bitterly cold and windy on the lake (at 12:00 am) and afterwards as creating the pano took many attempts. Lightroom, Photoshop, and Microsoft ICE were not cooperating. I imagine this is because there were few horizontal lines across the frame. Even the shore line isn't straight so I couldn't depend on that.

For one of my first panos, I'm quite satisfied.

Thanks for entering- and what a great photo! Unfortunately, for the purpose of this content, stitched panoramas are not considered to be composites. You have the opportunity to replace your submission until February 3rd (simply edit your post). Best of luck in the final stage!

(not a nomination)
