Fear, Loathing and a Merry Christmas Contest Number: 113 Contest Theme: Composite Lens: DA 18-135 Camera: K-3 Shutter Speed: 1/50s Aperture: F3.5 01-15-2016, 12:58 PM
We went to the Houston Zoo on the last weekend it was open for the Christmas light exhibit. Rained like crazy and flooded the place out. Luckily I was able to make a couple of composites just before the rain started and Noah Closed the door and ended up with this shot.
I used the in camera composite function on my K-3 and set it to 3 exposures. Then found three different Christmas light scenes along the path that had some interesting features and took each exposure.
There is no post processing, this image is directly out of the camera.
I choose this particular composite as it has a crazy surreal almost dream like quality to it. Something akin to what you would expect in the movie "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas".
I hope y'all enjoy!

Reason: didn't like the title and saw a grammatical error.
