Again, I like #7, and I still can't tell whether it's a real town or a very good model.

I'm thinking more and more that it's a diorama.

I think this is a beautiful Image . the way the photographer positioned the church steeple in the opening of the foliage, and the colors of the red maple leaves all over the image is truly saying Autumn.

I think 5-and 8 also was good, but with too many corections.
And then came nr. 10.
A wery simplicate motiv in a good composition. My wot - nr. 10

But 7 i find more wintry even the competition title 'seasonal' is not very clear..

Has to be No.5 for me as it not only fits the competition title but I would say it has a unique almost surreal appearance.

One thing troubles me about our competitions though and it is just how much PP goes into some of the entries.

I would like to know how much, if any went into my selection (5).

It seems to me there is an advantage to be gained by those who are gifted in photo manipulation. Before Photoshop, Lightroom and the rest, photos were judged on the photographers ability to "see" the subject, apply suitable settings, wait for the right light and picking the right angle etc.

For some, probably most that is still the case but then you have the "playing field tilted" imo by skilful or otherwise use of all this software.

Maybe there is a case for two levels of competition, one that comes directly out of the camera and one where unlimited manipulation is allowed.

After reading some comments I come to the conclusion that the "seasonal" theme has to refer to a season's aspect that clearly identify the period; a season affects first of all the landscape and it's colours. But these, for me, have to be naturals. So my weight is landscale, natural then originality (because all the images are technically well done). So my vote is for #11.

I really like the first because you feel a pulse of life in an embrace of frost and grayness. I might prefer the no. 8 but with a better composition and n. 10 because graphically interesting although perhaps I would see better with a more contrasted black and white and a sky just rougher. Scielgo then the n. 7 for the technique, the colors and the sympathy of the two subjects.
