The lighting is not all that great, but the image still catches one's attention, mainly due to the composition.
No doubt, the triangular pose draws the viewer's eye to the subject's face.
"Less is more." The photo will do better if you cut off the top empty space, down to just above the subject's head and maybe a few millimetres at the bottom.
But I still like it.
