I took this at a gathering of real cowboys in Bandera Texas, "Cowboy Capital of the World."

This portrait appeals to me very much in that, besides being a very good picture, itīs contrasting the very banal cowboy thatīs brought to the world by Hollywood (mostly). Well worth winning! Nominated.
