The boulder pile Gloppedalsura in Rogaland Norway. Gloppedalsura consists of avalanche boulders that are piled on top of an end moraine, a process that dates back to the last ice age about 10 000 years ago.

In more recent times Gloppedalsura was the stage for fighting between the German Nazis and the Norwegian resistance army in the early days of the Nazi invasion of Norway in 1940.

Thank you very much! I spent quite a lot of time in Apple Aperture 3 to get a b&w conversion that I found acceptable.
