Blue and Green in Harmony

Dear Colleagues,

I have a passion for an incredible show which nature offers us. Once you have experienced the excitement of the lights and the constantly changing of their colours you always want to come back. It is a paradise for photographers but you need patience. Sometimes it seems to be over while the best of the show is still ahead. Blue and Green with little bit of Orange is my favourite set of colours.

I know that passion, from a few encounters. Once I woke our whole camping group, "The Northern Lights are out!" (on Rock Island out in Lake Michigan from Milwaukee). This is a truly great catch, framed by our earth. Where is it?

OK. This is my selection. Celestial lights dance over a strong earthly horizon, while the encounter is cooled in the soft ripples of the water. Simple and suggestive.
