The Spoorzone is an area in Tilburg, the Netherlands, being re-developed.
From 1868-2011 the workshop of 'de Nederlandse Spoorwegen' (Dutch Railways) was situated here.
The area was closed for outsiders and was called 'The Forbidden City'.
In 2011 the workshop was closed and since then the region is being devoloped into an urban area where housing, offices, catering industry, possibilities to go out and a new library are planned.
