It was very difficult to pick one in this contest. It was tough to eliminate any single photo as they are all interesting and they all fit the topic perfectly. After much deliberation I went with #1 because the Escher-esque quality appeals to me a lot.

If the prime purpose of architecture is the provision of space for occupation, why are do so many photos exclude its occupants?
Therefore, despite being perhaps over processed (HDR?) I give my vote to Number 1.
All technically good photos though, and many are quite lovely too.

If I could have, I would have voted #5, but a system technicality prevented that. Several great shots but this one had me staring at it the longest. I love the mystery...

Congrats to all the finalists. Wonderful entries make it hard to decided but my vote gets #14 for it's unique PoV and bold, strong geometrics, leading lines and composition. Well done.
