Always strange reading the comments in these voting threads... I have to say though that choosing one was not easy, as there were two, no maybe three that stood out, and others that were quite nice in their own right.

#5 is a photo of a painting i think? First i thought an interesting use of very high ISO but the birds are not degraded much by the (presumably) high ISO.

Only asking, not blaming the photographer, by all means

5's creator posted an interesting account of the capture of that image. Something startled the birds, and the flock rose, and he just managed to capture that above the treetops. I love what he did in post, whether in PS or another app. It's so minimalist, and it's one of my favorite images here. I hope it gets lots of love.

My vote is for number 1 (ONE)

There are no autumn colors, but the avenue is amazing.
Recently, I passed a similar road in the middle of the night, when the only visible light gave me a my very old two cylinder Ardie
Unfortunately I did not have a camera.
I mast have to go back on this road and take an amazing photo, made of horror
Imagine these trees in the dark at night ...

Image no. 4

I notice that no one has claimed image #4 as the best. I'm not saying that I did, but I thought it was a very creative and imaginative treatment of the subject. Photographically excellent, too.

This is one great shot.

I like all the photos but I chose number 5 for it best describes what autumn (Fall in some country) is all about. Good luck.

being a new member, I'm not allowed to vote this month. I would pick an emotional (even a bit disturbing like #1), poetical... one which could be a support for a wandering imagination : #1, #5, #8, #12
