Nobbys Beach is one of Newcastle's (Australia) most popular beaches, adjoining the historic East End of the city. An old but well maintained picnic shelter features three arches, which generations of locals and visitors have used to frame the iconic city beach view. I've tried to use the DA 10-17 Fish-Eye lens to encapsulate the setting and its significance, without distorting the view itself.
