Moonlight lights the vulcano Teide under the Milky Way in bright moonlight + a meteor

The vulcano Teide (3719 m) on Teneriffa under the Milky Way in the full moons light. Mount Teide is the highest Mountain of Spain located on the island Teneriffa in the Atlantic Ocean west of North Africa. Visiting the Vulcano at night - high above the clouds at about 2.600 m - was one of the greatest experiences ever. The scenic rocks in the foreground are named "Rocas de Garcia". The tiny meteor slicing the Milky Way was an extra gift for this image.

The image is composed of a series before moonrise to get the Milky Way and a single shot for the landscape lighted by the bright full moon after it had risen later in that night.
