Number 7.

Two things come to mind. The first, as an admirer of HCB I think this continues to the tradition of finding form amongst the function. Second, it brings to mind a line from Ammons' poem Corsons Inlet, "...in nature there are few sharp lines..."

Cities are unnatural human constructs, and this image shows the regular and artificial nature of them. The word Estate is visible, and whilst this may conjure up images of grandeur for some, in England it can refer to the worst type of human existence in a city.

Or, of course, it may refer to a vast swathe of land and baronial luxury. You pick which one...

I really like #11 . Each frame has some interest and I revel in the glass distortion effects!

#5. Unlike Canada Rockies I don't see contrast but boding. The crumbling room is just a little ahead of it's surroundings...
