Thanks for the vote. the dirty sensor is really dirt in the water. we are on the gulf of mexico. I tend to keep what is in the image and never thought that specks in the water could be seen as sensor dust. Many thanks!

I had a vivitar 2x converter that had dust in it and spoilt a few photo's was a process of elimination to find the dust.
