As I'm looking and scrolling down the entries, I am thinking, good grief, how do I pick one... and then I get to comments and see that I am not alone.
I recognize several of the photog's styles from regular postings, which makes it even harder to choose, heh.

I'm frank, whether you like it or not.

One part is about rivers, the other shows fjords. Absolutely independent. It is wrong to vote with __one__ vote for ___two___ subjects.

Another issue, why botched images were nominated? Botched by processing mainly. I know, "De gustibus..." etc, but apart from "fun" such contests should convey a little photo knowledge and fairness in photography. Not faked "fun" only.

My best regards and votum separatum.

P.S. A little acridity here and now weren't unjust.

Excellent entries! In the end I selected # 5. I could truly enjoy a morning cup of coffee in this setting. The cool morning mist in retreat and the promise of a sunny day generate optimism. At the same time, the photo draws the eye through a tangle of branches into the shadowy depths of the forest--perhaps the remnants of dreams? The youthful river, of course, is the silver thread that holds the image together. It's chatty current speaks of the good times ahead.

After flipping from image to image for 15 minutes or more, I narrowed it down to 3 of them. I finally picked #12, just because I prefer the atmosphere to #5 which is also a damned good shot. #7 was reluctantly eliminated.

How the H**l is one supposed to choose any fewer than 15 images out of this set?

Every month it seems to get harder, but I have chosen Number 12 as it seems to be a wonderful place to sit and watch the world going by ( with a nice cold beer):
