Beautiful shots, all of them. Unfortunately it is always a subjective decision and as is said, familiarity can breed contempt.

I love #13 - great light, composition and a quintessentially Australian scene with red gums overhanging a billabong, but, to me, its my backyard, something I am all too used to. Instead I find myself drawn to that which is not common to me, a windswept fjord or a Scottish loch, despite trying to be objective.

I agree with Veraser's comment regarding the split subject problem. I spent a lot of time over several visits going over and over these photos and each time I thought I had my choice sorted out, only to realize that there was another that was equally challenging, but in the other subject. Rivers and /or fjords. Both water but vastly different.

So whilst I have cast my vote, I am still undecided as to whether it is the right choice.
