Contest Number: 145 Contest Theme: Sunset or Moonrise Lens: SIGMA EX 17-35 AF ASPHERICAL Camera: K1 Shutter Speed: Above 6s Aperture: F13.5

I took this shot at a 2 AM shoot. The exposure = 30s. The Ada Mae in an icon of New Bern, NC. USA. She is sailed regularly, but to capture her sleeping under the rising moon made the late night shoot well worth it for me. I shot at f13 hoping to star bust the lights...and got a star burst moon too--just under a cloud--elongated because of long exposure, the Ada Mae soft due to the slight swell of the Neuse River... I am new to using the forum and would appreciate any input about making the most of it!...love...
