With the quality of these pictures it's not even fair to have to vote. Great work from a wide spectrum of different photographer's views.

One of the finest set of contest entries I've seen on this forum ... and very hard to pick just a single "winner" from such a gallery of thought-provoking images. Congratulations to all the photographers who entered and made it to this final round!

All of these images were superb. There is a certain vibrancy to my choice that earned the minute qualities that, in my eye, put it over the top.

Outstanding pictures this month. My vote goes to #3 which I think is brilliant. The hand shows age and character which necessarily inhabit the space in which he is invisible.. Put another way, the viewer automatically extrapolates from that hand, and the walking stick, when mentally filling in the blank space. Because the blank space is jet black, as if to say "there is nothing but nothingness here," the trick of making the viewer reflexively fill it in, is all the more impressive.

Wow, they didn't stand out as much when they were part of the entire group but concentrated here they ALL stand out. Amazing photography once again.

These photos are great, but can anyone explain to me how they fit to the topic "negative space"? Well, #14 might be fine in that sense. But for the rest of the photos, to me, it looks like the focus lies on the subject in the foreground and there is not much going on in the negative space :/
