Matthew,

This was a three light set up. My main was a Flashpoint/Godox ad600 camera right in a Westscott Orb and maybe overhead next was the Flashpoint/Godox Streaklight 360 camera left and then a strip light with a flashpoint r2 zoom (the $65 dollar wonder). I used a Flashpoint trigger to control all of the lights. I used the flash as a kicker, not sure if it was on a strip. Unfortunately, I took this over a year ago and the good old brain is starting to forget. However, this was a fun shoot. The model was amazing and we created some of my most favorite images.

I believe the main rt and left were in Apollo Orbs and the flash was not modified. I used a Flashpoint C stand for the high overhead light as you can get pretty high with this. I used a Savage Studio Grey 107" backdrop. That was a challenge. This backdrop is fine for non-moving subjects, but when working with a dancer you really want to be higher and wider. You have to simply work within your limitations. Paper really is not the best material for a dancer as they can slip but she was a pro and made it work. This was actually shot in the front foyer of in my house. I was actually shooting from my dinning room that opens into the foyer, go figure. Sometimes when you tell too much it takes away from the beauty of this image. Since I am up and coming I thought it was important to share since it looks like it was shot in some magical studio. Also, I made a nice 36" print of this and to this day I like to call it my masterpiece. Nothing like seeing your work framed and in print. I can't even afford to buy my print.

Thanks for your feedback. I haven't posted too many images and plan to put out a few more.
