This is a panorama image created with a series of 7 vertical shots on Microsoft Image Composite Editor and edited in Lightroom.

Whenever I am visiting my parents in my hometown and I have the chance to go the my grandfather's farm on a clear sky night, I take the opportunity to photograph the stars. This image was made in a clear winter night of June (southern hemisphere, so winter) when my wife went with me for the first time. We stayed there for only 1 hour or so, but the sky was amazing and the position of the Milky Way was good, so I came back with some great shots! This was my second attempt for a Milky Way arch, and I think is one of the best images I've made with my Pentax. I really like this one.
