A perfect illustration of "Moonlight in Vermont" which I could hear in my mind's ear -- to refresh my memory, I looked up the lyrics and it's as if the song had been inspired by this image -- even the feeling of different seasons in transition, fallen leaves, and the texture of what looks like ski trails.* I long to enter and explore this magical infrared filigree path that could never exist in the natural world as if I too could be transformed as I stroll or cross-country ski through.* The colors and shadows are exquisite and painterly.* Especially lovely choice for this season.* Breathtaking visual poetry....* NOMINATED!
