The eye of the beholder

Contest Number: 160 Contest Theme: Open Lens: Pentax 560mm Camera: Pentax K3ii Shutter Speed: 1/500s Aperture: F5.6

I was in the right place with the wrong lens for this image. This particular elephant was at the far side of a waterhole, where the Pentax 560mm was the ideal lens. He then decided to come and stand less than 5m from me and all I could focus on was his eye!
