M42 The great nebula in Orion. Fireworks worthy of 100 years of Pentax
Contest Number: 160 Contest Theme: Open Lens: 6inch newtonian Camera: k5d Shutter Speed: Above 6s Aperture: F4

Pentax K5
TPO 6 inch imaging newtonian guided by asi120c-s/converted 8x50 finder scope.
300 seconds @ iso 100
Processing in Siril/GIMP/Rawtherapee

This got such a great response in both Facebook groups and Pentax foums I thought it would be a great way to end the year and 100 years of Pentax innovation. M42 is the most spectacular target in our night sky and so I felt it would appropriate to represent this momentous occasion.

Cheers!
