My personal favourite is 14. The gradations of tone lead you into the image, it's well seen, well framed and processed just right, one of those, darn, I wish I'd taken that, images. Not an easy choice though, there's quite a few in there I wish I'd taken.

My vote is for #1.

It has action, interest, and story. It makes me smile and reminds me of times when I was growing up. Joel Sartore, a National Geographic photographic, taught me that while many photographers are waiting for people to get out of the scene, he waits for them to come into it. This is a great case in point.Love it!

That said, there isn't a bad one in the bunch. Congratulations.

March, 2020 photo contest, #163, is Rain

Hello all
My choice of the Landscape in Monochrome" is No 8 this Image give you a good perspective of the sky the ( Clouds ) the trees and the fields & cut hedges and the winding road to the Left middle , dark cloud to the R/H side and Lighter Cloud to the left hand side , not too bright and not too dark . Im a country side person Through and through, Excellent Hard to choose and as previously said they are all nice.

Regards

Steve

10 and 12 really capture the presence of these spots, their mood is so strong but ultimately I was constantly pulled back to No 1 - it has such energy and mood and a complete atmosphere.
I vote for #1.

Am I mistaken, or was image #6 entered in a previous month's contest, but in color? It's a fine image but oddly familiar.

Too bad there can be only one winner! These are all outstanding images by any measure.
