Here is a delightful red cala lily we purchased from a local greenhouse (Lethbridge, Alberta) CANADA. I LOVE to shoot flowers. I like to see something different, especially in the lighting. I tend to go with dramatic lighting in my pictures of flowers; whether it be backlighting with soft shadows, or in this case harsher side lighting. Backgrounds are as important as the subject; I like to present a clean light, or in this case deep dark background with few details, to draw the viewer straight in to the heart of the pictures. I find this to be a very versatile lens; it's got a nice sweet spot for me at f7.1. The joys of seeing, and sharing. 😃 "Every day is filled with new things just waiting to be discovered" ~gwd.

It is like the green and blue channels just decided to give up competing with the red!
