I too wish there weren't watermarks, as my initial focus is unwillingly drawn to them.

But I don't want to penalize the merits of an image just because of that.

Number 2, 5 and 7 are amazing pictures. Some other are quite average on a technical standpoint.

Yes, unfortunately, some good photos are spoiled by those shrill watermarks.

If I eliminate all watermarked photos, along those that are clearly heavily processed and those with slow shutter speeds { both of which bother me more}, nothing is left.

Fantastic photos, congratulations to all. I voted for the one showing seemingly intact nature (though they are having their issues with their lavender in South France, too), as we are seeing too many dead trees here in Germany lately.
