Every October, I look forward to the appearance of milkweed bugs (Oncopeltus fasciatus) on our milkweed pods along the front walkway. This photo was made on October 19, 2016, so I expect this year's milkweed bugs will appear very soon after I post this.

The aperture is a guess. It could have been f/8, but I'm not very good at writing these things down. . . .
