Jim Creek Bridge, WA
Contest Number: 178 Contest Theme: Architecture Lens: SMC PENTAX-A 50mm F2.0 Camera: Pentax Superprogram
Posted By: stanwi3, 06-28-2021, 09:59 AM

I shot this picture of the Jim Creek Bridge in Washington state about 30 years ago with my beloved Pentax Super Program film camera.
I don't remember the aperture and speed settings, but it was most likely shot on Kodak Kodachrome 64 film.

The bridge is a concrete deck arch bridge over Jim Creek on WA503. Built in 1945 and posted to the National Register of Historic Places on March 28, 1995.

The late sun illuminating the underside of the bridge is striking juxtaposed against the sharply demarcated shadow it casts and the soft focus of the foliage in the background.
