One of my favourite places to take 'seasonal' pictures is Medicine Lake in Jasper National Park, Alberta Canada. I have spring, summer, fall and winter pictures, with a huge 48x60 inch fall shot of this lake. Here is my winter shot, taken from the same spot. It was cold! Need I say more!!

I would like to nominate this image for it's composition and dramatic rendering of a Winter Landscape.

Was a long exposure employed to achieve the dynamic range in the tonal balance, or in post processing ?
