I think this is the first time when I couldn't pick one from the other. They all are "numero uno". Unfortunately, since I have to pick one, I voted for # 15.

I really like #12, but 11 shows the power or water under an immense vista of blue sky. The two most vital elements of our existence.

Number 13 I prefer. All of them are very good, some may be Photoshop. This one is nice and dramatic to me.

Tried to keep my mind on water specifically. There were some very good water falls, frog blurps, etc. I stayed with the power of water that led to shots of waves, and of those I thought the black and white rendition was the strongest for me.

I agree with the other dissenters, these finalists are disappointing from my memory of the nominations. What's happened to originality?

For the sake of learning, I am curious to know or see some examples of water-themed pictures you or any other like-minded commentator think demonstrate more originality? I say this not to be defensive or start some debate. I would really like to see these pictures, and, of course, learn how they were taken, but the latter is perhaps best for another day.
