Hey! I can see my house from here!
If that's YBI/TI then I really did live there as a kid in 1975 when it was used for Navy housing.

Irregardless of my assumption, this is an Interesting and unique perspective on this photo challenge.

You’ve got it! Yerba Buena and Treasure Island are getting their own ferry service (think one in pic is coming for Oakland) given how much housing is being built there. The building I shot this from is only a couple of years old so lots of urban development in a short span.

Neat! I was very young at the time 7-8. I went and looked at satellite images of the area. Some of the old buildings are still there but not the house I lived in. My dad ran social services which is now a an autoshop. I played in the dry world fountain out front of what is now apparently a museum, leftovers from the worlds fair the island was constructed for. I went fishing with my dad and even remember driving it under the bridge. That old boat stayed behind when we moved and was even put back into service by base security years later after they contacted my dad for permission. --too many stories. :P
