Contest #189 - May, 2022 (Ultra-wide Perspective)
Contest Number: 189 Contest Theme: Ultra-wide Perspective
Posted By: Ole, 05-01-2022, 06:08 AM

The theme for the official PentaxForums photo contest for May, 2022 is:

Ultra-wide Perspective

Show us an image taken with an ultra wide-angle lens with the aim to emphasize depth or perspective. The diagonal field of view must be 75 degrees or wider. This means a focal length of 18mm or wider when shooting APS-C, 28mm or wider when shooting full-frame, and 35mm or wider with 645 digital. For other formats: check a lens table if you're in doubt. Good luck!

Click the button below to submit a photo for the contest (do NOT post in the thread you're reading now).

Remember: your submission must be taken with a Pentax camera or a Ricoh digital camera and be scaled to web-friendly resolution. After clicking on the link above, attach your photo using our attachment system (preferred) or link to an external image. Only 1 submission per person.

And don't forget to nominate your favorites from last month. Click Here to go to the nominations page.

When I got the email I was like. Oh boy I can use that new 21mm!... no I cant. :P

I suppose this would be a good time to get that K1 I've wanted for years, but my car needs struts and the house a new roof and work is still kinda hit or miss. Maybe I'll try to use it as an excuse to finally release some lenses back to the wild.

I realize it might not be in the spirit of the event but somebody should ask:

Can we use panoramas?
