The roof of this extraordinary building is 90 ft. high, the nave and sanctuary quite narrow. The contrast between what comes through the world-famous stained glass and the dimly lit interior with its light beige stonework is extreme. That one can obtain tack-sharp shots handheld is part of the miracle of digital photography.
