Milky Way seen from a farm near Catalão and Cumari, State of Goias, Central West of Brazil.

The dark skies of Goiás are amazing. Whenever I am there visiting my parents, I try to go to the farm to see some stars. It is just incredible.

This is a panoramic image composite made out of 9 vertical shots from right to left in a total of 170° of field of view.
The lights on the right come from the city of Araguari, Minas Gerais, about 30 miles away, while the lights from the left come from Catalão, just 15 miles away.
