"Foreboding"
It is too hard to pick a "best" image of the thousands from 2022, so I went the lazy route and just picked the one with best single-image social media metrics from my Facebook photography page! This image was taken 5/23/22 at a North Dakota farm homestead site on a stormy evening with my 720nm infrared-modified (Kolari) Pentax K3. The foreboding mood (amplified by using infrared-spectrum camera) is a bit prophetic - the entire north side foundation of house has collapsed inward, and the house is cantilevered above the basement, into which it will likely collapse w/in a decade or so. The grand old barn roof is also "wilting" where shingles have failed. Another 20 years and this will all be rubble. I wish I you could all view the source resolution file on this - it is soooo sharp (impressive, considering the "super zoom" Pentax 18-250 used to capture it.
