So many of my favourite photographic devices here...reflection, shadows, repeated patterns, bokeh! Hard to choose but as soon as I saw #13 I knew it had my vote!

One and only one is not dependent on a physical location.
One and only one is not dependent on man-made structure and lighting.
They are not the same.
I voted for one of those 2.

Once again such an outstanding series of images submitted for the first monthly photo contest of the New Year.

Having viewed the gallery of finalist images multiple times, I settled on #1 for it's careful composition and almost monotone exposure, that by way of the contrast of it's lights, accentuates the architectural curve of the structure, inviting one to look deeper into the image, almost inciting one to want to step onto the bridge itself.

Hi all,
As there is no image without light, virtually every picture is an image of light. On the other hand I find #11 is the only one among this "beautiful bunch" that keeps light just as principle subject. So I cast my preference to it.
