I’m starting this thread as a list of reviews and other resources about the K-S1. When you find a review, please add a link to the list. There isn't much yet, but I expect we will see a few more in the coming weeks.

A short user review from Love Pentax? blog (Japanese). This has got some high ISO shots that look very good. I think the picture of the K-S1 alongside the Q-S1 really shows how small this camera is for a DSLR.

That's what I was thinking. The Sony 20MP sensor in the Sony A5000 or A3500/3000 seems a very decent performer, so maybe the K-S1 has the same chip.

Sad thing is, other than his first (and rather damning) paragraph, the rest of the review is even-handed.

It amazes me how little appreciation is expressed for Pentax's in-body SR and compatibility with older lenses.

So, Tanaka-san thinks the K-S1 had better image quality than the K-3. That's interesting.
