Looks like Ricoh has released some new colors as well as some new product photos. I personally really like how they did these and find them to make the camera very appealing especially for ladies looking for a stylish camera option.

I really like the fun colors! They completely appeal to my sense of whimsey. The only problem for me is that I'm always going to buy the K-3 or its equivalent-- I'm not going to buy an entry-level camera just for the colors...

They seriously need to do those colors in a K-50 or K-3 and get the outdoors stores to sell them, a lot of consumers there, with a lot of cash.

Pentax needs to remove this particular ad NOW!

It is a horrible Photoshop effort.

For a photography company this is a mortal sin.

I completely agree with you. A black and OD green K3 would have attracted me and so would a DA 560mm if I had that kind of money.

I laughed when I got the e-mail from Ricoh with the awful Photoshop job. This has been e-mailed out to thousands of people. I think this piece was originally shot for the Q and they couldn't afford to hire a photographer, so they just Photoshopped the KS-1 in and shrunk it down to fit. They really aren't spending any money on marketing, or proofing apparently.
