Agree, though it makes me wonder about the next flagship APS-C which is bound to have the vari-angle screen, built-in WiFi and NFC etc plus the top LCD and mag-alloy build only the flagship models have. If I can hang out until then and get good use out of my K-50 in the meantime, it might be the better long term choice. I do miss the top LCD and mag-alloy build I had with the K-7. The K-3 just didn't tick all the boxes for me so I skipped it.
Then again, the K-S2 would probably be the more sensible choice..
